Well, I feel like spring has sprung and here’s to more sunny days than not!
Please join us this month as we celebrate the lives of two dear DWYC members, Steve Harrison and Scott Clapp. It’s remarkable how our DWYC family comes together on good days and bad and are here to support one another during difficult days as well as to celebrate the good ones.
April also brings a fleet cruise and friends from BCYC to our club the weekend of April 19-21st. We’ll host them Saturday night the 20th with club favorite, the James Kelly Band.
Mark your calendar for May 18, 2024 for Opening Day. This year we will be celebrating the Club’s 45th anniversary! We will be having the Boat Parade in the morning with Opening Ceremonies commencing at 3pm. Please reach out to Fleet Captain Greg Carlson about joining the super fun Boat Parade. Remember it is a Club rule to show your membership card when you enter the club! This is important so we can make sure our members come first and to avoid overcrowding. We’re also required to document our guests and reciprocals for our liquor license. So, whether you have been a member for a year or 20 years, please show your card so we can better serve you! And keep in mind that, as a member, you are responsible for your guests abiding by all club rules.
