Most of you know that the County of Orange under the supervision of Governor Gavin Newsom took a step back into the Purple phase of the pandemic. Fortunately, our tri-city area isn’t experiencing the same rapid spread of COVID, yet we are inclusive of Orange County and must comply with all guidelines as we weather through.
What this means to us is that we are no longer allowed to sit at the bar, operate as a bar or sit at tables not positioned by an OPEN window. We are supposed to operate as a restaurant, meaning food service that is accompanied with drink service secondarily.
Another result of the increased restrictions is the cancellation of this year’s holiday boat parade. Not only is Dana Point Harbor’s parade sunk, so are the other harbors up and down the coast. I hope those of you that own boats still light them up to make our marina more festive and compliment the lit features surrounding the marina.
